Parish Communications & Office Coordinator Full-Time, Hourly
The Parish Communications & Office Coordinator is essential in supporting the daily operations of the parish office and ensuring a welcoming environment for all. The Coordinator will provide a warm and helpful experience by greeting guests, answering phones, and performing front office administrative duties to support the Administrative Assistant, Pastor, and Parish Manager. Core operational tasks include updating parish records, scheduling Mass intentions, preparing weekly liturgical materials, and providing crucial support in coordinating sacraments, such as baptisms, funerals, and weddings; managing related paperwork, software, and scheduling. The ideal candidate is an organized, capable of troubleshooting independently, detail-oriented person of faith who will also assist with maintaining the parish calendar, supporting parish events (some nights and weekends), and taking on other projects as assigned by the Pastor or Parish Manager.
In addition to Office Help, this position manages and distributes information across all platforms to ensure parish families are well-informed and engaged in community life. This role involves creating a wide range of content, including printed materials, mailings, articles, and videos, under the direction of the Parish Manager and Pastor. Key responsibilities include producing the weekly bulletin, maintaining the parish website and weekly email, managing all social media channels with an annual marketing plan, and providing marketing design for campus monitors and signs. This position also leads the design and execution of major outreach efforts, such as the quarterly parish magazine and the annual Fall Stewardship Mailing, while collaborating with various ministries to create brochures and booklets that support their activities.
