About Holy Spirit Athletics
The mission of Holy Spirit Athletic Association (HSAA) is to organize and administer parish youth sports. Holy Spirit youth participate in the Wyandotte and Johnson County Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) League, which sanctions football, volleyball, basketball and track programs for students in grades 5th through 8th.The Athletic Association parish K-4 program organizes Holy Spirit teams that compete in local soccer, basketball, baseball, and softball leagues.
The HSAA also maintains the parish gym, baseball/softball, soccer, and football practice fields, walking track and picnic shelter.

Mission of CYO: CYO, a collaborator with parish youth ministry, is in partnership with parents, coaches, volunteers, parish staffs and clergy to offer elementary and secondary school youth the opportunity, through the media of sports, recreation and other activities to grow in virtue, develop their full human potential and become a more committed disciple of the Lord Jesus.
