Women's Scripture Study

All women are invited to join the Women’s Scripture Study on Tuesday mornings. Our study generally coincides with the school year. We meet from 9:00 am to 11:15 am in the Martha/Mary Room. 

Our purpose is to grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, so that we might all give greater glory to God. Our study includes a 4–part process of home preparation, small group discussions, a lecture or DVD presentation and review. We also set aside occasional meetings for potluck and fellowship. 

There is a cost for the study materials ($60-$85 per year, scholarships are available). 

The first is a 6-week course on “DAVID THE KING” by Bishop Robert Barron.  Bishop Barron helps us understand David, in light of Adam, the first king, and Jesus Christ, the King of Kings. Our first session is Sept 15.

Our second study, "MARK, The Gospel Through the Eye of Peter”, is an 18 week study and will take us into spring 2027. This study is a deep dive into this most foundational book of the Bible. In this engaging verse-by-verse study, join Fr. Patrick Winslow, JCL, and Michael Pakaluk, PhD, as they examine this compelling introduction to Jesus Christ, through the eyes of Peter.
