An Act of making reparation to the Immaculate Heart of MaryOur Lady of Fatima, or Our Blessed Mother, requested this devotion to console her heart and promised special graces, including assistance at the hour of death with the graces necessary for salvation all who, as an act of reparation to the Immaculate Heart of Mary complete the devotion on five consecutive First Saturdays.
The ImmaculateHeart of Mary is the core of the message of Our Lady to the three children, Venerable Lucia dos Santos, St. Jacinta and St. Francisco Marto in Fatima, Portugal in 1917.
To complete the devotion, within a week of the first Saturday of the month:- One must go to confession
- Receive Holy Communion
- Recite five decades of the Rosary
- Spend 15 minutes meditating on the mysteries of the Rosary, all with the intention of making reparation.
