An avid soccer fan — both as a player and a spectator — his favorite club is Manchester United. He also enjoys running, tennis, volleyball, and basketball. A proud Eagle Scout, he loves hiking and the beauty and solitude of nature.
Fr. Justin appreciates the simple pleasures of life: IPAs, a medium-rare steak, Thai and Indian food, and occasionally smoking a pipe. His cat is named Zeb — and yes, you may pet him (at your own risk!). If you ask him about Les Misérables or The Lord of the Rings, be prepared for a long and passionate conversation, as he is a huge fan of both.
His Confirmation saint is Padre Pio, and he has a special devotion to many saints, including Charles Borromeo, Joan of Arc, Mary Magdalene, Thérèse of Lisieux, and John Vianney.
If he could offer just two pieces of advice, they would be: “Cultivate a devotion to Mother Mary” and “Waste time with Jesus in the adoration chapel.”
Fr. Justin loves being pastor at Holy Spirit. He makes it a priority to share meals with parishioners and to offer house blessings whenever possible.
